Vibram Five Fingers Review:

It wasn't just a couple of months ago until I actually heard about the all new Vibrams. I had saw someone walking around in them for the first time and I was like WOW, what in the world are those. I didn't know what they were called or why the person was wearing them. So I went back home and talked to my buddy about them and he ended up knowing what they were called so a long story short, I now own a pair and would like to tell you all about the Vibram 5 Fingers in a detailed review.

So What Exactly Are Vibram Five Fingers Going To Do For You?

Basically the all natural barefoot movement, is going to completely retrain your entire leg muscles as well as build new muscles in your feet. Your posture will be more straight up and center rather then slouched over, and you will also notice increase in agility, which means faster sprinting and short bursts of energy. The reason why the Vibram Five Fingers have an advantage over our normal everyday shoe is because by having such large sols in causes us to walk natural inclined, increasing bad arches and foot problems in the long run. Not to mention that your toes are jammed up all together. This is defiantly not the natural movement that we should be walking everyday. So forget about your old shoes and step into a pair of Vibram Five Fingers.

Review Of Vibram Five Fingers:

So the first question that should come to mind, is what exactly are you going to be using the Vibram Five Fingers for are you going to be wearing them for running, hiking, water, or just a casual everyday shoe? Your main objective of this barefoot feeling shoe is to pick the perfect fit and comfort for yourself for exactly what your going to be using it for. Now whats funny what I first noticed is that they do not measure your foot for a normal sized shoe. For example if you are a size 10-11 you will be a size 41-42 in the {Vibram Five Fingers}. They simply go off European sizes, so it is a little odd. The most important thing to do when being fitted for the Vibrams is to get a size to fit your big toe, you don't want your toe to be rubbing up against the toe guard, but you want it about a fingernail away. The whole point is to have your toe just before this guard, otherwise it will simply be to crammed and uncomfortable for you. When you have found the right size Vibram Five Finger, you will defiantly no it.

Easy To Fit On And Comfortable:

How easy were they to put on? I'm not going to lie the first time I ever tried on the Vibram Five Fingers it took me 5 minutes just to get one of them on. Your pinky toe will more likely be the hardest to try and fit in because it naturally wants to point into your big toe from being crammed inside your normal shoes all of the time. As time goes on and you are wearing them more often, you will notice that the vibrams will actually start forming to your specific foot, making it easier to slip all of your toes in very easily.

Now there are many different kinds of styles and brands of Vibram Five Fingers that you will be able to choose from. It took me 3 different kinds to try on to figure out which ones I really wanted for specifically running. When your fitting into these shoes, your going to notice a difference in the inner under sol of the ball of your feet will range from 2 mm up to 4mm the reason for this is for increased padding when running on concrete/asphalt. You may go to the store intending to buy the vibram with the most padding. Do not have these intentions. I had this intention when I went and purchased my first pair of Vibram Five Fingers and I actually ended up getting the pair with less padding on the balls of my feet. Why? Because comparing between two brands the Bikilia and the KSO Treks. Both are an all around running shoe but the KSO's have 1mm more padding which isn't much but you can defiantly tell a difference when wearing both of them. I ended up going with the Bikilia's because they were a lot easier to put on then the KSO's, they were more comfortable in the toes, and they felt like they supported my foot better. So when choosing the right Vibram Five Fingers, keep in mind of every aspect and you will be set up with one of the most comfortable natural barefoot shoes on the market today.
